Arab Fashion Week

The gardens of the St Regis, Dubai, play a glamourous host to this season’s Arab Fashion Week. The four-day event focuses on introducing regional and international emerging designers to the Middle East and to showcase their latest collections, couture designs and vision to the region. Take a look at the highlights of Day one with Buro 24/7 Middle East…

Laura Mancini

Italian-born Laura Mancini showcased a collection of luxurious silk must-haves. Think capes, glamourous gowns and royal-influenced touches. Reds, black and blues were the go-to colour palette this season.

Giada Curti

Italian-based design house Giada Curti unveiled a perfectly pretty collection this season. Bows, pearls and ruffles were a running trend, which were accompanied by sheer lace panelling and pops of coral pinks.

Abed Mahfouz

Closing day one of Arab Fashion Week was Abed Mahfouz, the Lebanese-born designer who showcased a ready-to-wear couture collection full of pastel colours, elegant gowns and intricate embroidery and detailing.
